HISTORY CAMP IS JUST AROUND THE BEND
Learn about life without modern electricity or other modern comforts. Students may only attend one session.
Session 1
October 21-24, 2nd-8th grades: 8:40 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Monday – Wednesday and Thursday 8:40 am to 11:30 am at VOCS Warehouse 3501 Chester Avenue. This session has a $25 fee which will cover all activities and projects.
Session 2
March 31- April 3, 2nd -8th grades: 8:40 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Monday – Wednesday and Thursday 8:40 am to 10:00 am at VOCS Warehouse 3501 Chester Avenue. This session has a $25 fee which will cover all activities and projects.
Learn crafts and skills such as: Leather working, pioneer activities, one-room schoolhouse experience, embroidery, branding, pioneer toys and music, pinch pots, oil paper windows, western justice, rope making, cooking, candle making, and much more!
Online sign-ups begin at 10:00 a.m. October 7th, for the 2-8 graders,for session 1 and 10:00 a.m. March 17th for session 2. Students may only sign up for one session or the other. The $25 per student fee offsets some of the cost for materials.

* CAMPERS:
- Meet in the VOCS warhouse every morning at 8:40am
- Wear pioneer costumes (preferably) or comfortable clothes that you can get dirty
- Bring a sack lunch along with a water bottle
