🎉 Back To School Bash

There is no better way to kick off the new school year than to get the school community together to celebrate! Back to School Bash takes place during the first week of school to welcome new and returning families.

  • Meet the VOCS teachers and staff.
  • Provides opportunities to learn about all our different vendors and on-site clubs.
  • Enjoy food, play games, and connect with each other in the spirit of Valley Oaks.
🍂 Harvest Festival

The Harvest Festival is a long-standing tradition here at the Tehachapi site where students, staff, and families come together to celebrate the fall season.

  • Enjoy carnival games, bounce houses, face painting, and a petting zoo.
  • This is our largest fundraiser of the year.
  • We encourage all families to take part in the festivities to support VOCS.
🛠️ Maker Faire

Taking place on the Tehachapi site late in the spring, this is a time to celebrate success, learning, growth, and achievements.

  • Student work is displayed throughout the site, including projects, art, and creative displays.
  • Features live performances and engaging, STEAM-centered activities.
  • Offers plenty of opportunities for building deep connections as a school community.
