Taft

Valley Oaks Charter School Taft, is a satellite office that serves VOCS TK-8 students in Western Kern County. The office/facilities are located within the First Baptist Church at 220 North Street in Taft. The resource teacher, Angela Young, is available on Thursday from 9am-3pm. VOCS special education and speech service are available at the site. There is also enrichment classes at our facilities for grades TK-8. Enrichment classes are taught in four 4 week blocks throughout the year on Thursdays. Enrichment classes include a variety of learning experiences. In addition to enrichment classes there are family parties and field trips. Annual state testing is also available to be held on site.
