Back To School Bash – There is no better way to kick off the new school year than to get the school community together to celebrate! The BTSB takes place during the first week of school and provides families with opportunities to learn about all our different vendors as well as clubs here on site. We serve food, play games and connect with each other in the spirit of all things Valley Oaks. 

Harvest Festival – The Harvest Festival is a long standing tradition here at the Tehachapi site where students, staff, and families come together to celebrate the fall season. There are carnival games, bounce houses, face painting, and even a petting zoo that provide lots of fun for students to participate in. As our largest fundraiser of the year, we encourage all families to take part in the festivities and events to support VOCS throughout the year. 

Maker Faire – The Maker Faire takes place on the Tehachapi site late in the spring and is a time to celebrate success, learning, growth, and achievements. Student work is displayed throughout the entire site which includes projects, art, and lots of creativity. There are live performances, STEAM centered activities for students to participate in, and plenty of opportunities for building connections as a school community. It is a day of celebration and fun!
